Tideflow tasks are the building blocks of your projects. This guide covers how to assign tasks, set due dates, and manage task statuses so your team stays aligned and on track.
Assigning tasks
- Open a task within a project.
- Click the Assignee field.
- Select a team member from the dropdown.
- You can assign multiple people if your plan supports it.
Setting due dates
- Click the Due Date field in the task card.
- Choose a date from the calendar picker.
- Optionally, add a start date or set reminders.
Changing task statuses
- Click the status field (e.g., To Do, In Progress).
- Select the appropriate status from the list.
- Use custom statuses configured in your project settings.
Using tags and priorities
- Add tags to group related tasks or workflows.
- Use priority labels (e.g., Low, Medium, High) to help triage work.
Task updates and notifications
- Any changes to a task (assignee, due date, status) are visible in the activity log.
- Team members assigned or mentioned will receive notifications.
