Tideflow notifications keep your team informed without overwhelming them. This article explains how notifications are triggered and how you can control when and how you’re notified.
When notifications are triggered
You’ll receive notifications when:
- You’re assigned to a task
- Someone mentions you in a comment (
@yourname) - A task you’re following is updated (status change, due date, etc.)
- You’re added to or removed from a project
Where notifications appear
- In-app: Bell icon in the top-right corner
- Email: Summaries or individual alerts based on your preferences
- Slack: If integrated, notifications can appear in connected channels or direct messages
Customizing your notification settings
- Click your avatar in the top right corner.
- Go to Settings > Notifications.
- Toggle on/off notifications for:
- Task assignments
- Mentions
- Project updates
- Email digests
- Choose how frequently you receive email notifications (immediately, daily, or weekly).
Managing follow status
- You can follow or unfollow any task or project manually to receive or stop notifications.
- Click the Follow icon at the top of a task or project page.
