Integrating Slack with Tideflow

Connect Slack with Tideflow to get task updates and project alerts directly in your Slack workspace. This integration helps your team stay in sync without switching tools.

What the Slack integration does

• Sends task and project updates to selected Slack channels
• Allows you to create tasks from Slack messages
• Notifies users when they’re assigned or mentioned in Tideflow

Step 1: Connect Slack to Tideflow

1. In Tideflow, go to Settings > Integrations.
2. Click Slack > Connect.
3. Choose the Slack workspace to authorize.
4. Allow permissions and return to Tideflow.

Step 2: Choose which events to send

1. After connecting, select the Slack channels where you want updates.
2. Choose what to send:
   • Task assignments
   • Comments and mentions
   • Project status changes
3. Save your preferences.

Step 3: Use Slack to create Tideflow tasks (optional)

1. In Slack, right-click any message > More actions > Create Tideflow Task.
2. Add a task title and project.
3. The new task appears in your Tideflow project.

Troubleshooting tips

• Only workspace admins can set up the integration.
• If Slack messages aren’t appearing, double-check channel permissions.
