Tideflow safeguards your data with regular backups and clear retention policies. This article explains how we handle backups, what happens when data is deleted, and what control you have over retention.
Our backup policy
- Daily automated backups of all workspace data
- Redundant storage across secure servers
- Backups retained for 30 days and encrypted at rest
Restoring lost data
- Deleted tasks and projects can be restored from the Trash within 14 days
- After 14 days, restoration is only possible via a support request (availability depends on plan)
Data retention after cancellation
- Workspace data is retained for 30 days after cancellation
- During this period, you can reactivate your subscription and retain all content
- After 30 days, data is permanently deleted and unrecoverable
Exporting your data
- Go to Settings > Data Export (Admin only)
- Request a full export of tasks, projects, and activity logs
- You’ll receive a downloadable file via email

- Perform regular exports if your organization has strict compliance needs
- Use project templates to preserve structures before deleting content
